Starting a STEM program at my school
My focus is in depth, pedologically and curriculum aligned STEM activities – you won’t find themed crafts here. When I was first looking for ways to deliver STEM to my school there were themed crafts everywhere. I found it difficult finding help developing the lessons and curriculum for my school because there was very little information out there about how teachers are implementing and establishing STEM programs. What resources they are using? How are they setting up their classes? How the are conducting assessments and how they are reporting on all of these areas? So to share all that I have learned throughout this process I developed a Teacher Pay Teacher store called
Curiosity and the Hungry Mind, where teachers can get quick access to easy to use STEM resources. I have also created this blog and a Youtube channel to share how I do STEM.
